why does advertising exist

Advertising has been used  through out our history to show people what you are selling. People advertise to show what they are selling a company like specsavers get lots of money because they advertise their products alot on tv . If you do not advertise your products you will not make much money as a company which do advertise. If no one advertises you will not know what people are selling and companies would make less money than they should. However with advertising companies would make more money

Over all i think muscular men have a good steroetype and that  shows that the muscular men work hard.In the society they are respected by most people. however there audiences which would  be the people who watch shows like boxing ,rugby and MMa,always are trying to be like them and do anything to be like them.In the society people show a good type of predujec to msucular people they expect them to be fun,active and work hard. In addition these people are judjed by there appearence and that could be bad although they can work hard they can be as bad as anyonelese the films proves this they can bully people and pick on people because of their strenght.I think it is hard for the media to find a fixed steroetype for muscular people.However muscular people mostly show a good steroetype and are always very active and help the society in lots of ways .

I strongly feel that people should desire to grow strong and develop this steroetype because the steroetype in not a fixed one and you have oppunities to be active and fun.

for my reasearch project i choose muscular men e.g  David haye he is a very famous british boxer and very muscular. I choose this because i want to investigate how the media repersents muscular men and how this effect young people phsical appearence and realise the effect it has on the viewers watching boxing and mma i have realised at school people desire to be strong to be bigger than everybody else why ?

In television the use of muscular men is used a lot for example mma or boxing. Boxing involves a lot of muscular people and one of the most viewed sport today.

In the media tv side they represent muscular people  as idealistic figures and they young people watching it think that is how they should look like. Many young people watch boxing and try to be like them. Also muscular people are respected in the society a lot .I think young people desire for this respect and will do anything to get it.In lots of comedies and drama's muscular people are seen as active ,fun,cleaver and responsible. For example  captain Jack from torchwood he is alittle bit muscular but he is brave,cleave and strong . I fell people want to be all of  the characteristics of muscular men and that has a massive affect on young people today.this is David haye a famouss boxer

In most films most muscular men are repersented as villens or sometimes as a hero but is a rarity to see. Muscular men have a not so good repersentive in films e.g in the expandibles stone cold steave austine is very mucular man and is a villien. This crates a steroetype that  muscular men are bullies and have a bad side and feel they can beat anyone who annoyes them. In addition muscular men always work for the main villen and acts like a back up plan to eliminate the hero when the orginal plan have failed. Or used as a figure to scare people.In the ip man 2 the main mucular man is a villein and is very mucular and a very body feared him.

how muscular men are repersented in the news

In the news muscular men do not have a bad repersentation, because usally they have done something good like winning a boxing match and when news interview a muscular man they give of a good impression to the news. which shows that muscular people calm and always relaxed and workhard to achive thier dreams and creates a very calm stearoetype.I feel the media want to interview theses people because of this stereotype and feel very secure in there presence.Although it is abit of a rarity to see mucular men in the news there stereotype in the news is good.
