In the media tv side they represent muscular people as idealistic figures and they young people watching it think that is how they should look like. Many young people watch boxing and try to be like them. Also muscular people are respected in the society a lot .I think young people desire for this respect and will do anything to get it.In lots of comedies and drama's muscular people are seen as active ,fun,cleaver and responsible. For example captain Jack from torchwood he is alittle bit muscular but he is brave,cleave and strong . I fell people want to be all of the characteristics of muscular men and that has a massive affect on young people today.
